We have just pushed out a new release of QVSource to our existing users - to get it just click the 'Update Check' button on the About tab of the main QVSource window (as illustrated here).
Some of the updates in this version:
- New tables in the Google Analytics connector for listing the sites and segments you have access to. We have a cool new demo which shows how to use this to generate a QlikView dashboard for the sites you like without having to know the profile id's.
- New User and CommentsForItem tables in the Facebook Fan Page connector make this connector a lot more powerful and flexible now. It also now can return all comments for an item where as previously it was only the subset which was shown in the Facebook web interface.
- The YouTube connector has a load of new tables and features!
- You can now set a custom folder for the QVSource cache on the About tab of the main QVSource window. This will allow, for example, multiple QVSource instances to share the results of sentiment API calculations.
- Added User, Topics, InfluencedBy and InfluencerOf tables to the Klout connector so there is now a load more information you can get for the Twitter users in your data.
- The Twitter connector has been updated to match some recent changes made to the Twitter API.
- The MongoDB connector is now able to access sub documents.
We are delighted to now have over
50 users recommending QVSource on LinkedIn - if you think the product is useful please help support us by adding your vote.
We are continuing to work really hard on the product and plan to have it commercially available by mid to end of November.
